Primary School Students Learn at Earth Day Expo

AN Earth Day Expo at the Canning River Eco Education Centre taught youngsters from Rossmoyne Primary School the importance sustainability.

More than 500 primary school students attended the annual event across the metropolitan area.

Last Friday, the whole day of interactive activities engaged the students to think globally, and act locally.

Topics included dealing with water scarcity, generating renewable energy, protecting local native fauna, and understanding ways Nyungar people look after the land.
