ROSTRATA Primary School’s budding young scientists got the chance to learn about alternative energies when a local chief executive came to speak.
Geoff Pocock from the Hazer Group, a Perth company that touts clean hydrogen and graphite production as the way of the future, spoke with the Year 6 students.
Mr Pocock spent almost an hour with the class giving a presentation and answering questions on the impact future clean energy alternatives have on the climate.
“The students were really interested in the talk and asked some really fantastic questions,” Mr Pocok said.
The interested students grasped scientific concepts, asking impressive questions about hydrogen by-products, namely carbon and diamond production.
