Paramedic Nik Stewart taught the primary school students how to call the ambulance and showed them some of the equipment inside the ambulance.

Principal Hans Geers said the visit was linked to a health program run by students from Curtin University in Bentley.

Curtin students from a range of health disciplines rotate through Brookman Primary, providing these services to children from Kindy to Year 2, Mr Geers said.

During their rotation, the Curtin health students develop their inter-professional and discipline-specific skills running whole class health lessons.
