Doors open at 8:30 and close at 9pm, and green thumbs are invited to cast their eye over some of the best shrubbery in Perth.

The Annual State Championship and Show features the official Horticultural Council State Championship for a combined Cactus and Succulent group, as well as a number of other Society prizes for different groupings and categories of cacti and succulents.

Society president Bob Hunter said winners would earn bragging rights for 2015. “It is the Society members’ one chance in the year to show off their growing skills, and gain bragging rights for the next 12 months,” he said.
