Singapore Airlines celebrates 50 years of Perth flights with fly-by

TO mark the 50th anniversary of Singapore Airlines flying to Perth, a special Airbus A350-900 made a low fly-by past Perth today about 2.30pm.

Following its departure from Perth Airport, SQ226 flew at 1500ft, tracking along the Swan River in front of the city before heading towards the coast.

Singapore Airlines held a competition for the best photo of the A350 as it flies over the city.
