These selected students will be embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn and understand the sacrifices of military personnel lost in battle.
They will visit a number of significant historical sites in Malaysia to honour the Australian service men and women who served during World War II.
Jonathan said he was hoping to gain a greater knowledge of the Australian service men and women’s actions in the region.
‘Engaging the youth of today in remembrance will ensure that the spirit of the service men and women will continue through future generations,’ he said.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Premier’s Anzac Tour, which has travelled to Gallipoli, France, Belgium, Greece, the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
