Its chief executive, Kelda Opperman, said the team was excited about the news.

“This is exceptional recognition of our organisation, our service delivery, strategy and vision,” she said.

“Congratulations everyone, and everything crossed for the awards night on August 16.”

Zonta House lodged a 10,000 word application with a two-minute video to enter the awards, and an interview was held with two judges on site at Zonta’s Willetton head office.

The State awards night will be held on August 16 and winners of each category will go on to the national awards night on September 20.
