I WATCHED a program recently on ABC TV on the changing of the Australian defence uniform since the First World War.
They went through the process of design and colour and said that the powers-that-be had decided to revert to the original colours of WW1 by popular demand.
Fair enough, I thought, as I liked the new uniform, but the commentator then finished off with, “The product is now made in China”.
I would like to know who the Minister was who signed off on this deal and do they realise the possibilities of their actions.
