CONTINUALLY attacking the mayor of the City of Canning for something he said during an election campaign is wearing on me as a ratepayer.
Have those responsible for these attacks forgotten about the hard work by the people who fought for the City during the amalgamation threat?
Your comments and drawing them to the attention of the Minister of Local Government will not endear you or his office to the City of Canning, its hard-working officers, the mayor and councillors.
You do yourself no favours by your disruptions and if you again seek election to the office of councillor or mayor, don’t be surprised if there is little support for you from ratepayers.
DON BRIGGS, Lynwood.
