I hope that those who have written in will also be sending their feedback directly to Main Roads via letter or its website.

The thing with State Government trials is that it usually intends to go ahead with it anyway and the trials are just its way of getting us used to the changes. It would be interesting to know what criteria Main Roads has set to determine if the trial is a success or not.

In any case, Main Roads has asked for public feedback, so let us hope someone there will see sense and consider public opinion.

The only good thing that has come out of this trial is that it has made me a more prayerful person as I travel down the off-ramp; praying that I do not have to slow down significantly or stop in order to give way to vehicles travelling at 100km/h along the freeway.
