Suspicion raised

THE WA Liberal Government tries to amalgamate councils and, with what seemed like malice, deny residents in the City of Canning an opportunity democratically to vote on the matter and fails.

We now have the unsuccessful Liberal candidate from the last State election electioneering for the mayoral role in the City of Canning, including adverts in this newspaper.

Should I be suspicious it is a furthering of the State Government’s agenda regarding local government in general and in this local government election against Canning City council from within?
