ANNA-MARIE Bartolome joined the real estate industry in 2016 with a background in sales, marketing and business development.

She had a strong start to her career.

“I was able to close significantly sized deals within my first year in real estate and placed number 1 for REIWA Rookie in 2017,” she said.

“It was a wonderful and motivating way to say the least to begin my career.”

It is a career she continues to enjoy.

“I love people and my community,” Ms Bartolome said.

“Assisting an individual, couples and families throughout one of their most important journeys is so exciting to be a part of.

“I also enjoy working daily with such different people from different cultures and seeing a successful result for each one of them.”

Her goal is to never become complacent and always do more.

Ms Bartolome said she had not found being a woman a hindrance to her career.

“You yourself are the only one who dictates the vibes surrounding you,” she said.

“The focus for me has always been that male or female, we all have our own strengths and abilities – it is up to you how effectively you use them.”

For other women looking to join the industry, Ms Bartolome said dedication, persistence, a high level of professionalism, the ability to connect every day with people and a lot of time were essential to success.
