The swimmers, aged between 8 and 14 years, spent a fabulous day competing against other Perth and regional swimming clubs, and also competed in the first ever relay events for the club. The swimmers toiled hard and were rewarded for their hours of training with a swag of medals.
The club has been re-established for 18 months, and is now looking forward to the Metropolitan State Club Championship event on March 6.
Head coach Gemma Herrington said she was proud of all of the swimmers.
“They train many hours each week and love trying their best in every event. The upcoming club pennants will be an excellent competition to see how we go against similar-sized swimming clubs.
“Our club is fortunate to have many young swimmers who love to swim, love the team environment and love to see their teammates swim well.”
