Curtin defeated Kelmscott 4-0, after both new and old players got their names on the sheet.
Up-and-comer Fraser Grant scored two, while first-team stalwart Jon Krawec grabbed the remaining goals.
In the first 15 minutes, neither team was settled, but then Curtin took the game by the scruff of the neck, scoring three goals and snuffing out any hope for Kelmscott.
The first goal went to Grant, who popped up inside the area to convert from close range.
Next, it was Krawec’s turn as he converted a flowing move of first-time football from 15 yards.
Minutes later, Grant got his second as he ran onto a bouncing through ball and chipped the approaching keeper with skill.
After half-time, the game dwindled as the weather worsened, but Krawec, not to be outdone by Grant, scored his second and Curtin’s fourth with just minutes to play.
Curtin play host next Friday night to Rockingham, who sit two points behind in third.
