Cannington Greyhounds: big victory for Dagostino thanks to in-form chaser

James BroadhurstCanning Gazette

Lini Danco drove to the front out of the traps, which allowed her to avoid the trouble that occurred behind her at the first corner when several of the field were pushed wide.

The handy dark brindle skipped away to an unassailable position down the back straight and despite having ground taken off her by the fast-finishing Moment To Jive in the run for home, she was never in danger of losing.

She sailed across the finish line three lengths ahead in 29.88 seconds.
