From box one, Zelemar Fever, the fastest qualifier from the heats, started as a favourite, but failed to capitalise on the rails alley as Jump the Queue crossed her into the early lead. On Coin clicked into gear after a few strides and took up position just behind the frontrunners as they headed into the turn.
On Coin improved his record to 25 wins and 22 minor placings from 54 starts. He has amassed over $200,000 in stakes.
