Curtin chalk up fourth

Goals to Jon Krawec, Carlo Chiellini, Khaled Salhah and Rory Binnie for Curtin were enough to outscore Ellenbrook’s Ollie Langdale (two goals) and Mat Clarke.

Six minutes into the game, Binnie slotted a pass through for Krawec, who chipped the advancing Jake Bungert with aplomb.

A strike minutes later from Langdale into the top corner levelled the score.

Ellenbrook then took the lead against the run of play when Langdale’s strike was deflected wrong footing Curtin keeper Calum McMulkin.

In the final minute of the first half, scores were levelled with Chiellini dispatching an obvious penalty with ease.

In the 53rd minute, the returning Eddie Tikoft weaved some space to cross to the far post for Salhah to nod home from point blank range.

A goal from Clarke 20 minutes later levelled the playing field.

The winner came late on when Andy Chadwick fouled Binnie in the box who converted from the spot to give the home side a win.
