MONARO Monelli will be gunning for back-to-back feature races in this weekend’s Winter Cup final (520m) at Cannington after clocking the fastest qualifying time from last Saturday’s heats.

The in-form David Hobby-trained chaser recently claimed the Sandi’s Me Mum Memorial and looks on target for another piece of silverware following a superb run during the heats.

Monaro Monelli established his dominance early when he speared to the lead from box six.
