Hound sprints home for the win in tight finish

Zelemar Fever was behind at the first turn as Sveta Monelli showed lightning speed out of the boxes to cross into the front running position.

Sveta Monelli came into the final as the fastest qualifier after beating Zelemar Fever the previous weekend but this time she was not able to get enough of break out in front.

Sveta Monelli forced Zelemar Fever to the outside where she was able to edge her way into the lead.

Zelemar Fever competed with On Coin on the home straight but she was able to hold on for a record-equalling time of 30.23.
