The match started well for Curtin with man of the match Eddie Tikoft scoring in the first 12 minutes of the game from a corner.

Ranjeet Sekhon proved a formidable goalkeeper for Curtin keeping the ferocious Balga offence at bay, but Curtin did not capitalise on the strong defence and Balga equalised early in the second half.

Curtin turned to their bench for some fresh legs and introduced Salhah to replace Kristian Beven, just as Balga took the lead.

Salhah did not disappoint his Curtin team-mates scoring a goal to help bring some dignity back to the side.

With the game heading into its final minutes, Curtin re-took the lead when Smith scored a goal for his side, making the score 3-2 in Curtins favour.

It looked like Curtin would walk about with all three points from the match until Dinko Ahmetanovic rescued the match for Balga in the 94th minute in injury time.

Final score 3 – 3.

Curtin play host to league leaders Rockingham City next Saturday at Raphael Park with the action kicking off at 11am before the first team match at 3pm.
