The racer from David Hobby’s kennels took control in the early stages of her heat.

Once established in the frontrunner’s position, Luba Monelli proved hard to overtake, despite pursuit from Reverberate.

She went on to win by two lengths in the fastest heat time of 37.28.

Luba Monelli was one of three David Hobby-trained greyhounds to qualify for the decider, along with Kova Monelli and Zelemar Diva.
