MANNING resident Nicholas Elphick has won a university scholarship for his contribution to sport, specifically water polo.

He won Notre Dame University’s Prendiville Scholarship, which was established by the Prendiville family and is given to an outstanding graduate from Aquinas College.

Peter Prendiville is the chancellor of the university.

Nicholas is studying physiotherapy at Notre Dame and has represented WA and Australia in water polo, with his sights now set on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

“We look forward to helping Nicholas realise his career ambitions as a physiotherapist.”
