Cannington will host the Nationals for the first time since 2009 and Reverberate is sure to be one of the leading contenders to represent WA.
Though she was edged out by Jeff The Tipster in her heat, punters installed Reverberate as the favourite from her inside draw due to consistent form and big race experience.
A moderate jump saw the Linda Britton-trained Reverberate land several lengths off the pace as Mullet Hunter and Freeway Ace vied for early control.
Reverberate pushed forward in the middle stages to hunt the leaders and by the time they hit the turn for home she was in a position to strike.
She surged to the front and carried her momentum across the line to score by nearly two lengths ahead of the late charging Jackie Bale in 37.67sec.
Reverberate has collected 21 wins from 74 starts and just under $125,000 in prize money.
