FIVE Riverton Aquanauts swimmers are dreaming of gold as they prepare to take on the nation’s best school-aged swimmers.
Orla Young (17), Jaidyn Hamilton (15), Jordan Preece (16), Jacob Hale (13) and Mackenzie Bell (10) have all been selected in the WA team for the upcoming School Sport Championships.
Riverton Aquanauts coach Gemma Herrington said she was proud of the quintet and their selection was a ringing endorsement for the club’s program.
“It’s a huge honour to be selected on the state team and having five swimmers from our club competing will be a great experience for these athletes,” she said.

The tournament takes place in Melbourne from July 27-August 2.
