SBL: Willetton Tigers collected a duo of wins against Mandurah Magic

A NAIL biting Round 10 delivered a hard fought win for the Willetton Tigers women against Mandurah Magic in the SBL.

Strong defensive pressure in the last quarter had the Tigers up 68-66, and with 41 seconds on the clock Lara Napier was sent to the free throw line twice, sinking scoring three out of four shots to put the Tigers 71-68 ahead with 21 seconds to go.

Mandurah did not stand a chance after missing their last shot, leaving the win in Willetton’s hand.

The Willetton Tigers men had a tough game against Mandurah Magic, but like the women before them, came through with a win, 88-76.
