SBL: Willetton Tigers men and women claim wins over Mandurah

THE Willetton Tigers women’s side continue their undefeated reign over the competition after they took down Mandurah Magic 78-67 on the weekend.

Loella Tomlinson scored 21 points and six rebounds while Desiree Kelley pulled in three rebounds, four assists and 11 points.

Ebony Antonio got 13 points as well as two rebounds and two assists, while Kate Malpass also had a great game with 20 points, four rebounds and three assists.

The team take on Kalamunda Eastern Suns at home on Monday April 25 from 1pm.

The men’s side notched an impressive win of their own, beating Mandurah 82-67.

Damien Scott scored 24 points, including three from beyond the three-point line, two assists, three rebounds and a steal.

Nicholas Cody got the team eight rebounds, two assists and also scored eight points, while Jay Bowie scored 28 points, six rebounds and two assists.

Tip off for the men against Kalamunda is 3pm next Monday.
