Jaidyn Hamilton (13) finished the one-day event as one of the top five performers of the meet; bringing home four gold and two silver medals and two massive PBs – wiping off 7.63 seconds in his 50m breaststroke and 5.13 seconds in the tiring 100m butterfly event.

“I enjoyed the atmosphere of being able to race in the country at a different venue and to try and better my personal times against other competitors,” Jaidyn said.

“I enjoy swimming because I’ve got to meet new people and make good friends. It keep me fit and active.”

Jorja Pullen (11) won bronze in the 50m breaststroke and finished the day with two PBs by shaving three seconds off her 50m Butterfly and a further three seconds in the 200m breaststroke.
