Swimming: Riverton Aquanauts do club proud at Swimming WA short-course champs

MEMBERS of the Riverton Aquanauts Swimming Club took home six medals from last month’s Swimming WA short-course championships at HBF Stadium.

The club sent 16 swimmers who competed in 98 events, with many finishing in the top 10 in their favourite races.

The swimmers also recorded new personal best times in 75 per cent of their races.

“The thrill of seeing the club cheer on its fellow teammates to some huge personal best times makes me proud to be involved in the club” head coach Gemma Herrington said.

A free ‘come and try’ club night will be held on October 13 and registrations have just open for the 2017/18 season.
