Tigers’ finals hopes alive

Fans filled Active West Stadium to watch the State Basketball League’s top side take on the Tigers.

Willetton was able to pull out a 115-106 victory due in large part to their three-point shooting.

The Tigers knocked down 16 three-pointers, shooting 40 per cent from long range.

Their ability to connect from the three-point line proved to be the difference.

John Dickson and Quinn McDowell combined for 68 points. Mitch Clarke and Jake Burston chipped in with 14 and 15 points respectively.

The win kept the Tigers’ finals hopes alive. The team travels to Bunbury to take on the Slammers this Saturday.
