Tigers take a double hit against Cockburn

The Tigers women’s team endured another tough shooting night, hitting 32 per cent of their field goal attempts and making only one of 11 three-point tries.

Lisa Wallbutton and Mel Marsh chipped in with eight and 13 points respectively.

The Tigers men’s team were unable to tip the scales in their favour after heading into the locker room only two points behind the Cougars at half time.

Although the Tigers won the battle of the boards, the Cougars dished out a whopping 30 assists en route to a 115-105 victory.

With the win, the Cougars regained the Community News Cup and won their fourth straight game.

The Tigers will look to turn around their season when they host Bunbury on Friday, June 13, at Willetton Stadium.
