WILLETTON’S finals hopes are on the line after Perth posted 273 from their 90 overs on day one of their Round 12 Premier Cricket clash at Burrendah Reserve on Saturday.

Jacob Snadden (63) and Dom Sibley (29) combined for an 85-run opening stand, before the middle order could only manage starts with a number of 20s.

Dain Moreton followed on from his innings last weekend with 65, while Josh Nicholas smashed 23 to propel the side to a competitive total.

Abdur Chheena was the star for the Dragons with 6-80 in only his third game of first grade cricket. Chheena bowled 34 overs with seven maidens in good return for the hosts.
