Census 2016: online form giving citizens cause for concern

Some people are demanding paper census forms because they do not trust the online form's security.

The Federal Government hoped to save $100 million by moving the census online, but not everyone has been receptive.

The ABS has been flooded with people demanding a paper census form, with concerns about the security of their data should they fill out the questionnaire online.

But some people distrust the whole concept of a census, viewing it as an invasion of privacy.
