A HAMILTON Hill resident is providing there’s no such thing as being too old to change your life around in a new stage production.

Sharon Menzies plays the title role of Grace in William Zappa’s The Greening of Grace, a story about a woman’s need to change after her life takes some traumatic turns.

Menzies said it was a thought-provoking play that was well directed by Tim Riessen.

“The loss of Grace’s husband was quickly followed by another major trauma and, in the aftermath, she decides the only way to survive is to find new purpose in life,” she said.

“This journey leads her to ‘go green’, much to the consternation of her daughter but the delight of her grandson.

“Grace is a very determined woman, who just gets on with whatever life deals her.”

Comedic production Lady Willpower will join The Greening of Grace on the same bill.

The production will run on select dates from February 8 to 23 at Stirling Theatre, Innaloo.

Tickets start from $20 and can be purchased from www.trybooking.com/YUAE.
