TWO Cockburn residents will bring a Tim Winton play to life next month.

The production of Shrine, which is set on WA’s south coast and explores themes of love, grief and loss, is directed by Bibra Lake’s Kayti Murphy and stars Coogee’s Jessica Brooke in the role of June.

Brooke said the play was about a couple struggling to recover from the loss of their son Jack, when her character suddenly appears at their door with a story about his final hours.
