THE top 5 postcodes for Lotto luck in WA for 2018, Community News can now reveal.

Success has come in at No. 1 with the most frequent division one winning entries of five and a total prize amount of more than $4.6 million.

Success was followed by Perth CBD, Mandurah, Victoria Park and Beechboro with two winning entries. Palmyra also returned two winning division one tickets.

Perth CBD had a total prize amount of nearly $20.6 million dollars after one lucky winner picked up an even $20 million.

“It’s been another incredible year of Lotto luck in Western Australia,” Lotterywest spokeswoman Pina Compagnone said.

“We’ve welcomed 51 division one winners who have shared in more than $102 million in prizes.

“These wins have ranged from $33,000, to our biggest for the year of $20 million.

“There’s been a couple of particularly lucky locations including this year’s official Lotto hot spot Success which has produced five division one tickets totalling almost $5 million.”

Almost 10 million WA winners have shared in more than $365 million worth of lottery prizes.

Meanwhile, the countdown to the biggest Lotto event of the year, the $30 million Megadraw on December 29, is now on.

West Aussies are tipped to buy about one million tickets.

The Megadraw is set to raise $5 million to support the WA community.
