A LOCAL after-school educator says she was humbled to scoop a national award.
Sandra Gay, based at Aubin Grove Primary School since 2015, was announced as the winner of Camp Australia’s national co-ordinator or the year award in May.
“Winning co-ordinator of the year is both humbling and rewarding,” she said.

Ms Gay said she has loved her time at Aubin Grove.
“It is a pleasure to work here in such a lovely environment,” she said.
“There are few jobs where you can laugh your way through your shifts.
“Seeing the children having so much fun not wanting to leave of an afternoon is a very rewarding experience.”
