GERMAN retail juggernaut Aldi will open its fourth store in the City of Cockburn when its Beeliar location opens next Wednesday.

Having previously opened at Cockburn Gateway, Phoenix Shopping Centre, South Lake and with their distribution centre in Jandakot, WA managing director Anna McGrath said Aldi was excited to launch its newest store.

“We offer a supermarket experience that is like no other in Australia, and it’s our differences that allow us to bring unbeatable value to our customers every day,” she said.

“We’re excited to be opening our new store in Beeliar and look forward to showing residents the difference Aldi can make to their wallets and lifestyles.”

Featuring a number of innovations that are expected to enhance shopping experience for customers according to Ms McGrath, it will include expanded wooden produce bays, energy efficient chillers, and a modern store design with sleek signage and point of sale displays.

“While we’re delighted to feature these innovations, we want our customers to know they won’t lead to higher prices,” she said.

“Low prices are a big deal for Aldi.

“This is our fundamental point of difference and one we will never give away.”

The store expects to employ about 15-20 permanent full and part-time employees.
