Beeliar student ‘excited’ by selection by Australian Girls Choir

The 11-year-old Mater Christi Catholic Primary School student will travel with 55 talented choristers aged 10 to 17 performing their way through Victoria and Tasmania.

The two-week tour will end in Hobart on July 7.

Olivia said she auditioned in February and March and received the good news about a month later.

“The emotions I felt were excitement, surprise, joy and utter shock. I was definitely excited to have been selected and to go on my first tour with AGC,” she said.

Olivia said she was excited to tour the country, help school students with music and dance workshops and perform for different audiences on the tour.
