Bryce LuffCockburn Gazette

BEELIAR teen Jourdyn Spinley has fallen just short of a dream trip to the USA.

The 16-year-old finished third at the Miss Teen Galaxy national finals last weekend.

The win would have earned her a trip to the USA in July to compete for the international crown.

“I feel extremely proud and excited about how well I did at nationals,” she said.

“The competition week was intense, packed with photo shoots and interviews although I had so much fun with everyone and made some lifelong friends.”

Jourdyn did claim the “best in evening gown” category.

She said the rest of the year would be dedicated to school, dancing and work.
