TIS the season to be jolly at Cockburn Gateway, with a number of Christmas themed activities to enjoy throughout December.

Welcome the start of the festive season on December 1 with a Santa parade at 10am, with the Christmas-themed characters involved roaming the centre until 4pm.

Santa will be available every day to hear last minute wish lists from the good girls and boys, and sensitive Santa sessions for children with special needs will run from 9am to 11am on December 2 and December 9.

For those with fur children, Santa will also be available for pet photos from 3pm to 5pm on December 16.

If music is more the thing, the Australian Girls Choir, Jenelle Russo Carollers, Acapella West and local school choirs will sing their favourite carols every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 22.

Volunteers from Breast Cancer Care WA and the Jandakot Lions Club will be available in centre every day to help with gift wrapping for a gold coin donation.
