City of Cockburn councillor and family welcomes new addition

Everest was born on June 28, weighing 3.1kg.

Like her other sons Monaco (3) and Bordeaux (1), Cr Terblanche decided to go with a geographical name, saying she liked what it represents.

The east ward councillor said she would be at the council meeting this Thursday.

“With the third baby, it’s almost like you’ve ridden the bicycle before so you just get back on,” she said.

“The only challenge has been having a baby in winter – it’s quite cold – so it’s a different setting to my other children born in summer and spring.”
