Coogee: Serious motorcycle crash closes Cockburn Road in both directions

A FEMALE motorcyclist has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance after a serious crash on Cockburn Road, Coogee this afternoon.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the motorcyclist, a woman in her 20s, collided with a slow moving car and became trapped under the wheel.

Cockburn Road was closed in both directions between Fairbairn Road and Magazine Court but has since been reopened.
