Emmanuel Catholic College finishes third in first dance competition

EMMANUEL Catholic College has finished third in its first dance competition.

The Success school held auditions in Term 1 where 45 dance students came together with teacher Hayley Parker to form The ECCentrics to create a dance production highlighting mental health in the community.

People Help the People explores how the hustle and bustle of modern life, pressures of social media, friends becoming a judging panel and the world media creating an impossible pedestal of perfection can make people feel alone.

The production was debuted at the Perth Dance Challenge at Newman College earlier this month where Emmanuel finished third.
