EMERGENCY services have been quick to act after a helicopter came down in a field adjacent to Jandakot Airport about 3.30pm this afternoon.
A Department of Emergency Services spokeswoman said responding crews took about 15 minutes to isolate the fuel and battery.
Fortunately there was no fire.
St John Ambulance transported one patient, a man aged in his 40s, to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
A spokesman said he was taken at “normal road speed”.
