POLICE have apprehended a man who they say drove the wrong way down the Kwinana Freeway this afternoon.
About 1.15pm police attempted to stop the vehicle on Winterfold Road in Coolbellup.
The driver of the car failed to stop and accelerated away.
The driver continued driving in a reckless manner along North Lake Road before driving against the flow of traffic on the Kwinana Freeway.

The vehicle was stopped on the freeway near Armadale Road and the driver was apprehended.
