UPDATE: Man taken to hospital after North Coogee car crash

UPDATE: A man in his 50s has been taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital after a crash in North Coogee this morning.

The man was in a stable condition with non-serious injuries.

The crash has since been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.

EARLIER: POLICE and emergency services are on the scene of a crash in North Coogee in which a man is reportedly trapped in a car.

The crash involved two cars at the intersection of Spearwood avenue and Cockburn Road.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services and St John Ambulance are en route.

There is no word yet on the nature of any injuries.

The crash was reported at 8.30am.
