Hamilton Hill: man, woman charged over alleged theft from deaf man

Staff WriterCockburn Gazette

POLICE have charged a man and a woman with alleged stealing and fraud charges relating to the theft of a credit card of a deaf man who was known to them.

Police say the incident occurred on Sunday February 25, when the victim was giving the man and woman a lift to the local shopping centre.

Police allege the pair used the stolen card to make fraudulent transactions, which the 46-year-old victim was unaware of until his credit card exceeded his limit.
