BEELIAR will come alive when the sun goes down on April 13.

A night market will take over Radonich Park, bringing with it more than 30 stalls and multicultural food trucks as well as a range of entertainment including DJ Sash, Dance Inclusion, WA Samba Band and busking from local children.

The Beeliar Community Voice (BCV) event will also include face painting, a community chalk draw and other free activities for children to enjoy.

BCV’s Jo Forward said they aimed to hold a number of free community events each year that locals could enjoy.

“We want people to focus on buying local, showcase local artists, food and entertainment and we therefore thought a night market would be a fantastic opportunity for people to come along enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the pop up night market and feel connected to their suburb,” she said.

“BCV are keen for the whole of the Beeliar community to feel included and this will be the first time we have held an event on Radonich Park.

“We are very keen to hold an event in this area so we can engage with residents in this section of Beeliar who may feel disconnected to our group due to the fact that the majority of our events have been held in the Meve area.”

The Radonich Park Meet-Up Markets will be held on April 13 from 5pm to 8pm.
