Police continue to hunt gun store thieves

POLICE have released images detailing the extraordinary lengths thieves used to break into a Perth gun store last week.

They believe about 100 guns, mainly handguns, were stolen in the break-in, which occurred at Claremont Firearms on Erceg Road in Yangebup last Thursday night.

Unknown offenders entered via a neighbouring business located on Cutting Way, using expensive specialist cutting equipment.

The person operating the equipment would need to have prior experience.

Detectives are seeking information regarding the movements of a stolen white Toyota Hilux, WA registration 1GPM 241.
