Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating a bushfire that started in Bibra Lake around 5.35pm on Tuesday.

The fire started in bushland on Bushland Ridge in the light industrial area, and the cause is being treated as suspicious

A spokesman for WA Police said the fire burnt through a large section of bushland before Department of Fire and Emergency Services air and ground assets were able to gain control and extinguish the fire.
